ISSUE: The Classes card does not display accurate class start times when a user logs in from a region that does not observe Daylight Saving Time.  Specifically, if the home institution is in a time zone that observes Daylight Savings Time for part of the year, and a student logs into Experience from a locale and time zone that doesn't observe Daylight Savings Time, the start time of the student's classes will be an hour different than the actual start time if the term includes the Daylight Savings Time shift in the spring or the fall.

- This issue occurs during academic terms that span the spring and fall dates, where the home institution's time zone shifts into or out of Daylight Saving time

- This problem is encountered regardless of whether the new performant APIs are enabled

- This issue is seen by both Colleague and Banner ERP customers

REPLICATION STEPS:

1. Select a class from a spring or fall term where the Daylight Saving Time shift (spring forward or fall back) occurs at some point during the term.  In other words, the class should start during Daylight Saving Time and end in Standard Time (or vice versa).

2. Register a student for a class in the above term.

3. Log in to Experience via the browser as the selected student and view the Classes card for the term selected in step 1.

4. Use a browser plugin or Developer Tools to change the time zone of the browser to a different region that does not observe Daylight Saving Time (e.g., Mumbai, Shanghai, Tokyo, etc.).

5. Review the start time for the classes shown on the Classes card and compare the start times to the home institution's local time zone.  Note that the duration of the class is different when the end user is logged into a region that doesn't observe Daylight Saving Time.
